With many years of hands-on experience, Dr. Ahmed Juboori offers gentle and effective wisdom tooth extractions. This may be the best option for:
Severely damaged teeth: Prevent future pain from cracks that reach below the gums and impact the root.
Impacted wisdom teeth: Remain trapped beneath the gums due to limited space, leading to swelling, discomfort, or infection.
Chipped, decayed or painful teeth: Even partially erupted wisdom teeth cause ongoing discomfort and gum irritation.
It’s crucial to get evaluated and treated by Dr. Ahmed Juboori to prevent the tooth from getting infected. If left untreated, the bacterial infection may spread and lead to tooth loss, gum disease or something worse, requiring more treatment.

The dentist numbs the area, opens the gum to access the tooth, and may section it into smaller pieces for easier removal. After taking the tooth out and cleaning the site, stitches are placed if needed, and gauze helps control bleeding and support healing.
We may administer local anesthesia (delivered through a gentle injection) or conscious sedation, depending on the patient’s needs.
The most common reasons are when the wisdom teeth are impacted (trapped in the gums or jaw), cause pain, crowd other teeth, or lead to infections, cysts, or decay. Wisdom tooth removal may also be needed if they grow at odd angles, are hard to clean, or pose future risks.
It depends on the complexity of the extraction and individual healing. Most people feel better fast, but swelling, soreness, and limited jaw movement may last longer. Patients are provided with complete aftercare instructions to promote a fast healing process.
